Lena attended a small liberal arts college in the mountains of Tennessee, and graduate school in Boston. While in Tennessee, she worked at a childcare center, and in Boston, she worked as a nanny for a family with three energetic and hilarious children. She has also taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to middle school students in Poland.
Lena has almost a decade of experience working with children ranging in age from six months all the way up to high school. She loves engaging in creative play, and getting to know children on an individual basis. As the product of a literary family, Lena particularly loves reading with kids, and further developing their naturally vivid imaginations. In fact, their lively imaginations are one of the things she most enjoys about children.
